Chargeback response, inside the helpdesk

Chargeback management that starts with the conversation you already had.

Most disputes are won or lost on evidence you collected weeks earlier: the buyer's emails, the delivery confirmation, the refund you offered. Rebutdesk keeps all of it in the support case, so responding to a chargeback is review and submit.

Available in early access: Stripe and PayPal dispute sync, deadlines and evidence PDFs. Connect with your own API keys.

How a dispute moves through Rebutdesk

  1. The dispute arrives

Stripe or PayPal notifies Rebutdesk. The dispute attaches to the buyer's existing case, or a new case opens if there is none.

  2. The deadline is on the case

The response due date counts down where your team works, not in a payment dashboard nobody checks.

  3. Evidence is assembled from the timeline

Messages, order details, shipping events and refunds are laid out in order and rendered as a PDF within the processor's limits: 4.5 MB in total and under 50 pages on Stripe, 19 pages for Mastercard.

  4. A person reviews and submits

Nothing is filed without a review. Stripe evidence can be staged first and submitted when you are ready.

What evidence each dispute reason needs

Card issuers want evidence that answers the specific claim, in the order things happened. A helpdesk already holds most of it.

Why support and chargebacks belong together

The evidence is in the conversation

Delivery confirmations, refund offers and a buyer saying "it arrived, thanks" are in support messages, not in your payment processor.

Broken promises cause disputes

A refund promised in chat and never sent is a chargeback waiting to happen. Rebutdesk tracks promises as commitments with due dates.

The right person answers

The agent who handled the complaint sees the dispute first, and knows the story without reading a dashboard.

One bill, no revenue share

Chargeflow takes 25% and Stripe Smart Disputes 30% of what they recover. Rebutdesk is a flat price that includes the helpdesk. Calculate the difference.

What it is not

Rebutdesk does not take a share of recovered funds and does not promise a win rate. It makes sure the evidence you already have reaches the bank in a clear, complete form. If you process a handful of disputes a year, the dispute form in your Stripe or PayPal dashboard may be all you need.

Questions

What is chargeback management software?

Software that tracks payment disputes, reminds you of response deadlines and helps you collect and submit evidence to the card issuer. Rebutdesk does this inside a helpdesk, so the buyer's conversations are part of the evidence.

Does Rebutdesk guarantee I will win?

No. The bank decides. Rebutdesk makes sure the evidence you already have reaches it in a clear, complete form, and does not take a share of what you recover.

Which processors are supported?

Stripe and PayPal are built in. Authorize.net, NMI, Adyen, Checkout.com, Braintree and Square are planned as paid plugins.

Does it prevent chargebacks?

Partly, by keeping promises from being forgotten and answering buyers before they go to their bank. Pre-dispute alert networks such as Ethoca and Verifi are planned for later.
