Terms of service
Effective October 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of Rebutdesk Cloud (the "service"), provided by Rebutdesk ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. The open-source Rebutdesk software is licensed separately under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0; these terms do not limit that license.
The service
Rebutdesk Cloud is a hosted helpdesk for online sellers that keeps buyer conversations, orders and chargeback disputes together in cases. Features available to you depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page. The service is in early access and features may change.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in methods secure.
- You are responsible for activity in your workspaces, including your teammates' activity.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract and use the service for business purposes.
Your data
You keep all rights to the content you put into the service. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your buyers' personal data and for the evidence you submit to payment processors. See ourprivacy policy.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email.
- Submit false or fabricated evidence in a dispute.
- Break the law or the rules of Stripe, PayPal or other connected providers.
- Probe, overload or attack the service, or access other customers' data.
Plans, trials and payment
- New workspaces start with a free 14-day trial. No card is needed for the trial.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record and reseller. Creem's terms apply to the purchase, and Creem's name may appear on your statement.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes, which apply from your next renewal.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
No outcome guarantee
Rebutdesk helps you organise and submit evidence. Banks and card networks decide chargebacks, and we do not guarantee that any dispute will be won. We do not charge a share of recovered funds.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.
Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or fail to pay, after notice where reasonable. After closure you can request an export of your data for 30 days.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue from disputes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and email account owners about material changes at least 14 days before they apply.
